South Burnett Weather Information

Check The Weather When You Visit Us
The South Burnett has a very pleasant climate for most of the year. Mid-summer (around January-February) can be hot and mid-winter evenings (around June-July) can be cold - but most other times the weather is beautifully sunny and mild.

The South Burnett's weather station is located in Kingaroy at the heart of the region. Rainfall tends to be higher at Blackbutt and Kilkivan where mountain ranges form natural rain catchments. And temperatures at the Bunya Mountains tend to be several degrees lower than reported regional averages due to their elevation.
