South Burnett Petrol Outlets

How To Get Fully Fuelled
When You Visit Us
The South Burnett is widely serviced by petrol outlets but many visitors from urban areas are often surprised to find that most of them are only open between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm (some even less).

There are two 24-hour petrol outlets in the region at Kingaroy and Murgon. Otherwise - if you visit - you're wise to refuel during normal business hours and ensure that you always have adequate petrol for any proposed journey.

The list below shows locations where petrol can be obtained (24-hour locations are shown in red):

  • Benarkin - Benarkin General Store off D'Aguilar Highway
  • Blackbutt - An outlet on the D'Aguilar Highway in the centre of town
  • Yarraman - Two petrol stations on the D'Aguilar Highway
  • Cooyar - Cooyar General Store, New England Highway
  • Nanango - Several petrol stations on the D'Aguilar Highway
  • Maidenwell - Maidenwell General Store
  • Kingaroy - Several petrol stations on the D'Aguilar and Bunya Highways (24-hour station is on the Bunya Highway)
  • Kumbia - Kumbia General Store, Bunya Highway
  • Wooroolin - Wooroolin General Store, Bunya Highway
  • Wondai - Wondai Fast Food, Bunya Highway (opposite the South Burnett Region Timber Industry Museum)
  • Proston - Proston Cafe, central Proston
