old country pubs provide clean, relaxed and very inexpensive accommodation

Caravan Parks provide powered and unpowered sites for caravanners
whilst Tourist Parks also provide cabin, bunkhouse or additional types
of accommodation.

Host farms and farmstays are very popular in the South Burnett
and the region has many well-established host farms which draw tourists from
all over the world (some also offer bed and breakfast services). In general,
host farms are most suitable for visitors who want to stay several days and/or
are looking for a complete holiday experience.

Bed and Breakfasts offer a more "homely" alternative to motel style
accommodation and are becoming increasingly popular with visitors. The South
Burnett has a large range of B&B's (many located at or near wineries).

Cabins/Holiday Homes

Most accommodation available in the Bunya Mountains is composed of
cabins and/or holiday homes and cabins can also be rented at
a number of other locations in the region (eg: Lake Boondooma and Lake Barambah
also have cabin accommodation). Like host farms, these are most suitable
for long-stay visitors. Prices vary depending on the season.
